The Narbona experience
in each glass
In 1990, we decided to honor history by carefully restoring the original hull. In 1998, we planted the first vineyards, whose roots are intertwined with the rich history of this land. And in 2010, we went a step further by building a new winery, respectfully integrated into the original hull, where we exclusively produce high-end wines. Every bottle that leaves our facilities is the fruit of decades of passion and dedication.
Our winery is located in a truly enchanting setting. With an extension of 50 hectares, our lands are located in the heart of the original historic Estancia, founded in 1909 by the visionary Juan de Narbona, a pioneer in the establishment of wineries in the country. Since then, we have kept that tradition alive, preserving the magic of the place.
The old cellar, built in 1909, represents the tradition and the centenary legacy of the winery. With its stone walls and classic design, it is a place where the essence of the viticulture of yesteryear is preserved.
On the other hand, the new cellar reflects modernity and winemaking innovation. Built with state-of-the-art technology, it offers optimal conditions for the aging and storage of premium wines. Its design and equipment allow control of temperature, humidity and other key factors to guarantee the quality of the wines.
Both cellars, old and new, are fundamental to Narbona's identity, as they represent the harmonious fusion between tradition and innovation in the production of wines of excellence.
Meet our wines
We believe that tastings are much more than simply tasting wines; they are a window into our passion and dedication to winemaking excellence.
It is an opportunity to delve into the history and art behind each bottle, to explore unique flavors and aromas that tell the story of our land and our vines.
In our wine tastings paired with cheese, premium tastings paired with tapas, or pairing dinners with 5-course menus, we fuse the passion for good food and wine.
Each encounter is a gastronomic experience, where we explore the art of combining carefully selected wines with delicious food. Each bite is enhanced with the perfect choice of wine, creating a unique culinary experience.
In addition, our team of sommeliers will give you an informative talk and answer all your questions.
A sensory journey through
through its vineyards
Our vineyards are located in Carmelo, southwest of the department of Colonia, on the banks of the Río de la Plata.
In this region several red grape varieties are grown, among which Tannat, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir and Syrah stand out. On the other hand, to the east, in the department of Maldonado and a few kilometers from the Atlantic Ocean, white varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc and Albariño are grown.
